This, to me is the best eulogy I can give to a flawed, caring workhorse lawmaker who spent his allotted time well, and spent his privilege trying to help other less fortunate.
Sailing a 50' yawl singlehand speaks, at least to me, of character, of the kind revealed in his professional endeavors.
I saw him sailing once in Edgartown with his son. This was 20 plus years ago.
